We have extended the deadline for our youth art contest!!

We invite any youth artists who missed our first deadline to participate & submit their artwork on or before Friday, March 18, 2011 at Neutral 7 Design Group, located at 2444 Northeast 1st Boulevard, Gainesville, FL 32609.

Are YOU an Artist of the Future?

Rocket for the Arts is hosting the 1st annual Rocket for the Arts youth art competition and exhibit. All Alachua County middle and high school students are invited to participate in the contest, where they can submit artwork in one of the following categories: drawing, painting, mixed media, or photography. We encourage all students to submit a piece of artwork depicting "My Vision of the Future." The top thirty pieces of art will be featured in a silent auction during Gala for the Arts, a black tie fundraising event during Gainesville Fashion Week, on April 8, 2011.
